How Will You Stand?

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” (Gen. 3:19)

No choice, no stopping or avoiding it, you will die.

Not in every geographical location on the planet in every age of man have those who have been born-again desired the rapture, that moment spoken of when the saints of God will meet the Lord in the air, while one nation is experiencing droughts, floods or persecutions another may be far removed from those trials and tribulations. I think you can guess which one is praying for the Lord to return.

Circumstances sadly, rule in the lives of many who profess Jesus Christ as Lord, they know Philippians 4:11, “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” But they will not live it or apply it in their lives, and I believe the best they can do when those adverse conditions arrive is to say, “Well, that’s just the way it is,” or “It must be the will of the Lord,” and grudgingly accept it, while complaining inside.

We want comfort, we do not want to be inconvenienced, we want life to go as we have planned for it to, while sitting in the pew and listening to how Jesus had no place to lay His head. We go to the grocery store or marketplace every few days or so, we order things online, we sleep in comfortable beds in warm homes with running water and electricity, and we fear because of what we see on our screens, that which is told to us of what is approaching.

We want the rapture to happen before the evil days arrive at our doorstep.

You have a choice when an authoritarian, tyrannical regime comes into your nation and begins to set rules that you do not want to obey, you can fight against it or you can submit to it, those are your only two choices. Those of you who know the history of Nazi Germany understand full well that the only choice that one had at that time in that nation if they were born-again was to rebel, we do not agree or compromise with evil. “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” (Prov. 8:13)

How then, in this short, poorly written letter is the question for you today, if love indeed is shown by our actions, which it is, how are we to express our hatred of evil? “Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.” (1 Peter 3:9)

We have reached the point where a man’s decision needs to be made, and you must determine here if there is a difference between the God of the Old Testament and the One of the New Testament, if God has changed. What will you do if the evil comes to your door, not just your nation or city, but knocks on your door?

“They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.” (Neh. 4:17)

“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you.” (Luke 6:27)

At this point I am fairly sure you have envisioned your reaction, and contrary to what many would do at this point, I am not going to give you any directions here, I offer you the truths of the Scriptures, you are responsible to God for your actions when and if that knock upon your door arrives.

Brute force is what has always held the rule in the world of mankind, and because this world belongs to Satan at the moment, it nearly always arrives with a kind and smiling face, with the intent of your welfare exhibited. The wolf in sheep’s clothing is coming to your house, and you will need to make a decision. Will you honor God by standing and fighting for those you love, and more than likely die while doing so, or do you allow them to take you to your death, hands tied behind your back? In either case my friends, you will give an account to God for the response you will choose.

I will leave you with this, many times our Lord went into the temple to teach all who would listen, once before He went into that same temple, He took the time to make a whip first.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
