To those who have assumed within themselves positions of the ruling class, the majority of the population to them are considered expendable, of no value, save for a few that can be employed in their service as little more than slaves with limited freedoms.
Am I referring here to the dark days that are fast approaching or the Roman Empire in the days our Savior walked the earth? Or perhaps when Egypt put Israel in the house of bondage, Alexander the Great, Nebuchadnezzar?
“I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.” (Eccl. 1:14)
We serve without question, in every aspect of our lives until the day of our death, the Living God, and this vexes the soul of those in every age when mankind has decided that a few evil men should be followed instead of the Creator of all reality.
“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” (Romans 1:21)
Those who are now and have in the past attempted to stand against the will of the Living God are the epitome of fools, dust to dust believing they hold power.
“And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.” (Exo. 9:16)
Those the world calls “good men” are attempting to withstand the approaching evil, and many agree with them, but they only stand against, they do not stand for what those who have been born-again stand for.
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matt. 6:10)
If you will understand this truth and accept it, your entire perspective of all that is occurring on this planet that now finds itself on fire will be altered, and you will have conquered against another deception of our adversary.
The Almighty’s will is being done on earth in this regard.
As He raised up Pharoah, Nebuchadnezzar, the Roman Empire and countless others whose vanity and thirst for power will not allow them to see the vexation of their own efforts, He is raising up those who have been deceived in the same manner today.
His will is being done for His glory.
“But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.” (Acts 5:39)
This does not mean that we are not to stand on the wall and warn, it does not mean we are to lay down our weapons, Spiritual or otherwise and cease standing for righteousness, it means that we must come to the realization of the truth, these evil men are not in charge by their own free will, Satan is not guiding them anymore than he is allowed to, it is the Living God that directs the steps of man.
His will is being done.
Every one of us who has been crucified with Christ has been born into these days for a specific reason, no less than any of the prophets or apostles were for their day, and although at times it may seem as if you are alone, that you are the only one who understands all these truths, remember 1st Kings 19:18. “Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.”
Millions of people on the planet at that time, and only seven thousand was sufficient for the task.
“I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.” (Psalm 3:6)
Billions of people on the planet today, and although none of us can say for sure how many have truly been born-again, we know this for a truth, it is enough.
The shadow of the fierce wrath of God is approaching this earth, we are safe under His wings, but we are expected to stand in the battle, warning those filled with vanity of their end if they do not repent, revealing to those who are experiencing the vexation of their soul He whom we know is in charge, and always has been.
