You cannot expound upon the truth unless you study the truth, and that truth is found only in the Word of God. I am speaking here of the truth that is lasting, truth that can change the heart of an individual from stone to flesh, (Eze. 36:26) not simple undeniable truths such as in mathematics or certain science-based structures, but in the substance of the core of a man.
Belief has very little to do with truth, save for our desire to search for it, as even Pilate seemed to be doing on that fateful day, (John 18:38) for belief does not altar truth, but that is not only what man has attempted to do throughout the ages, but is doing so today at an accelerated pace. Lies my friends, are just as easily believed as the truth is, most times even more so, for few lies will convict as the truth will, most lies do not even need to be believed to be followed, for they will change over time, and will be just as readily accepted when they do.
Nor does the truth really matter very much to religious individuals, tradition and routine are the ways to salvation, and once they are completed, whether it is a “one time” action such as baptism, or the continuation of the routine, such as the “wafer god,” of the Roman Catholic organization, once they have been accomplished, there is no need for the truth, for the action has replaced repentance, the repeated words have replaced the need for faith and submission.
I stand with any of my brothers and sisters of today and of the past ages that believe the King James Bible is the only way to understand the truths of what a born-again believer is to be, it is the surest path to the knowledge of how we are being conformed into the image of Christ. This is why it is nearly impossible to witness effectively to someone who has been deceived by the Roman Catholic Organization, not only have they made up their own “Bible,” but they can modify it and change it whenever they choose to. For all other religions that cover the face of this earth, the witnessing is no less challenging, for religion’s focus is to deceive, to brainwash, and I have yet to find one that tells their congregations to check what they are preaching against the King James Bible, in fact, most of the hierarchy of these cults shudder at the thought of any in their assembly doing so, and in some places you will be imprisoned, tortured, and even killed for attempting to do so.
This is what truth does, it shines the light in the darkness, it shines a light into the soul of the lost, and let’s them see for themselves the lie that they are believing. But that is all the truth does, from there each man must make his own decision, such is the gift of free will. In the days that we are living in the truth is coming under serious attacks, and that means that all who will stand for the truth will also.
Our main responsibility in this life is to glorify God, and one of the ways that we are to do that is to lift up the name of Jesus to all we meet. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John14:6) The Lord did not just write down the truth for us, He is truth, and without a firm conviction in your heart of this truth, you will never stand when it is time to. “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” (John 15:18) Always remember that, when you are in a position where you are being mocked and ridiculed, when and if they cast you into prison, remember that verse, and praise God for it, for they are not trying to hurt you, they are attempting to kill the Most High, you just happen to be the messenger, you just happen to be the one that shined the light of the truth of Jesus Christ into their dark soul.
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (James 1:2-4)
