God Cannot

“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” (2nd Cor. 12:10)

Do not ever make the mistake of believing the inverse of that section of that verse is true, when you are strong, the Almighty is not weak. And never use any sentence that has the words “God cannot” in it.

I profess I do not understand the English translation of Titus 1:2.

“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”

But I do fully understand Matthew 19:26.

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

The Most High said that He would not lie to David, inferring, at least in my finite mind, He has in a form we may not fully be able to understand, that He does lie to some, and that strong delusion mentioned in 2nd Thessalonians 2:11cannot be inferred in any other way than that He is going to send a lie that some people will believe.

I am going to repeat myself here, because it is vitally important that you understand this truth, your entire concept of the Living God depends upon it.

Never say that God cannot do something.

If any limits of any kind are ever placed upon Him, then He could not be the Sovereign Creator of all reality. He would be less than Almighty, less than the Most High, not worthy of the title Sovereign Lord, Creator and Sustainer of all that is.

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” (James 4:10)

Our pride, no matter how great, how manifold in its expression, is no deterrent to the Living God, no matter how strong we attempt to make ourselves, it does not in any way, shape or form lessen the Almighty, He is not weak when we are strong. He is not hindered in any way by any action, word, deed, thought or attitude of ours towards Him. You gain no power over Him by rebelling.

To say that Satan, the epitome of rebellion, the pinnacle of what many would call the enemy of the Lord is a formidable enemy is beyond foolish. He who created all the worlds with a single word has no enemy that can stand against His will.

God has chosen to allow mankind to believe we can be strong, but the expression of pride, no matter how imposing in our minds, can still make us nothing more than what we are. Dust.

“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.” (Job 38:4)

Mankind has taught itself a lie that devils know as fallacy.

“And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” (Matt. 8:29)

God is never weak, but He allows us to believe that we can be strong.

Many sporting venues today somewhere have, in large letters, for all to see, these words. “It takes all of us.” My friends, even if everyone who ever has lived was still alive here on earth, if every creature, angel and devil decided to attempt to stand in our own strength against the Almighty, everyone of us in a single moment would fully understand the word “futility.”

The power and strength of the Almighty is beyond our comprehension, but sadly, for most of us, so is His love for us. He chooses not to give us what we deserve, that is called mercy, and it is because of His love that we are offered it.

Every single person in heaven and hell understand the truth of the words written here, my prayer is that you will also. The Almighty can do anything that He wants to do, there are no limits placed upon Him, save for those that He has placed upon Himself.

The word “cannot” does not exist for Him.

We abase ourselves and call on Him for mercy when we understand these truths.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
