Go and Call Them

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” (Luke 17:26)

Nothing to see here, move along.

Not only does the majority of the population of this planet still echo 1st Corinthians 1:18, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” But 2nd Peter 3:4 as well. “And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

The words they use in relation to these beginnings of sorrows, are “crazy,” “unheard of,” “inconceivable,” and many similar to them, but they will not listen and have no desire to hear when we offer the proper words to them, judgment and wrath.

I believe it was Shakespeare that said, “Cry havoc, and let loose the dogs of war.” And as the ringmaster at the carnival says, “My friends, you ain’t seen nothin yet.”

I know what those in the world think, the question for you is not what you think of these days we who have been born-again have been placed into, but what are you doing about them.

As I have said before in these letters to you, our cause is not the world and the judgment of the Living God that has fallen upon it, it is not even the signs that He has blessed us with the ability to discern properly, our cause is Christ, and His cause was to profess eternal truths.

“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44)

And no matter in what way our Father in heaven draws them to Himself, He has chosen the members of His Son to reach out to them with these truths.

Again I repeat myself, if you are viewed as one who is polite, even kind, one who is diligent in the tasks before you, who takes care of what you own, even volunteering in charitable events, and you never openly profess the Lord Jesus Christ, you will only ever be known as a nice, likeable, kind-hearted person, and if so, the question could be raised if you are known of God.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (2nd Tim. 4:2)

The word is not the days of evil, it is not the judgment of God that has fallen, it is not the days of tribulation that will arrive, the word is that all have sinned, that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, that if they will repent and call upon Him for the salvation of their souls these days and the days that are approaching will not matter in the least.

There are those that are marrying and giving in marriage, oblivious to those who are spending far too much time in the temporal warnings, and there are those that are warning of eternal matters, of pleasures or pain forevermore.

To quote an old line from a movie, most are simply “Trying to find a handle on the moment.”

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62)

It should be easy enough for any who have been crucified with Christ to see the truth of Luke 17:28. “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;”

Why warn them about seven years when the truth of eternity is in your heart?

There are those who are simply turning a blind eye, those who are hoarding and prepping, those who sit in the pews and do little more than sing the songs, unable to tell the difference between happiness and holiness.

And there are those that can hear them screaming for all eternity.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Rev. 3:20)

If you have been born-again, He has chosen you to knock for Him, He has chosen you to be His mouthpiece, to warn not of what is approaching, but of what will last throughout eternity. There is no escape from hell my friends, there is only pain and suffering.

The door will be shut soon, and as it was for the foolish virgins, it will not be opened to them again.

“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt. 22:14) Go and call them.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
