The point is to keep you distracted, it does not matter if it is designer babies, the militant gay movement, the economy, the WEF, food shortages, crime waves, the Rapture or even the coming Tribulation, the point of everything is to create weekly if not daily diversions and Satan could not care less which one draws your attention.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Phil. 4:8)
The chaff, those who are professing Christ with only their lips, and I dare say even a large percentage of those who have been born-again have taken their eyes off the prize, they have stopped running the race and are standing on the path watching what the world is doing, a blindness of purpose has come upon them.
In my own personal opinion, the worst ones are the “Rapture watchers,” continuously searching every possible social media site for the next new sign, leaving behind the purpose they were placed here for, to tell others about the salvation of God offered through Jesus Christ, to continue to study to show themselves approved, to glorify Him in everything they do, but instead they have fixated themselves on a point in time to the loss of all else. I have found that many of them are confused about the dispensation, if you will, of these beginnings of sorrows that we are in, but I have also noticed that many of them were not looking for that blessed moment until the supposed pandemic started, and it makes me wonder, what were they concentrating on before the latest event occurred?
I doubt it was an in-depth study of the Book of Romans of 1st Timothy, I would guess it was nothing more than trying to get to church on time, but I could be wrong.
I have also noticed that all these diversions of our adversary have affected few of them personally, there are only the images on their screen mean to draw them away. I will also guess at something here, though I cannot prove it, that in many Sunday morning services and midweek Bible studies if the context is not about either the Rapture, the days of Jacob’s Troubles, or the concerns of the world, the before and after conversation is. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matt. 6:34)
These letters and even some of the videos have touched on many of these subjects, you may call me a hypocrite if you so desire, I probably deserve it in some way, but I have been blessed as I believe others have been, we have been shown the truth, that we are to be moving on the path, not paying too much attention to what is happening in the world, and definitely not fixating on the Rapture.
Consider this if you will, every diversion is meant for one purpose, to take your eyes and thoughts off the Lord and what He has set before you, the worker is only worthy of his wages if he works.
I have become tired of writing, yes, we are in the beginnings of sorrows, yes, the Rapture draws closer each day, for each day that you spend looking for that next supposed sign is a day that could have been used to reach the lost. Keeping every thought captive for Christ does not mean searching out portents of doom.
Ask yourself this, how much time do you spend looking for those end time events, and how much time do you spend in the Word of God? That will tell you where your heart lays.
Start moving on the path set before you again, stop staring at the evil of the world, just because it is more visible does not mean you need to pay more attention to it.
