Future Shadows

Trials in this life are allowed to come upon us for the sake of growing our faith in the Lord our God. They may be simple, minor inconveniences meant to teach us patience, or what many would consider catastrophic events, meant to reveal to us the hope we have in Christ.

They are always sent in love, this you must believe, which is in itself another opportunity to grow in our faith, our trust that the Word of God is true, that Romans 8:28 is always a truth. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

There is a verse when taken in context, as all Scripture should, that reflects in part what the world is attempting to do not only to those who have been born-again, but to all mankind in these days. “Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.” (Prov. 23:3)

Satan my friends nearly always shows up with a smile on his face and offers that sound reasonable. His words are akin to this in these times we live in, “You can have anything you want, as long as you do what I say.” This of course will have its culmination when the mark of the beast will be required to live somewhat comfortably in the world, and many will not have a second thought about obeying this mandate.

In one way or another you have experienced what I will call a “test phase” of this, wear the masks, receive the vaccination or be refused entry into certain locations, and this was only the first test, there will be more.

A minor inconvenience for some who refused to obey, a great trial for others.

Did you stand or submit? That is the crux of the issue, for if indeed this was just a shadow of what is approaching, then you must understand and believe that those occurrences will not lessen in intensity but grow exponentially in the coming days.

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” (1st Peter 1:7)

By agreeing to accept the mandates, you are conforming to the world, and each successive rule or regulation will show you that your faith does not rest in Christ, but in the truth of our adversary, who in this particular verse was indeed lying as he does, but in part was speaking truth for most. “And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4)

Sheep go astray my friends, prodigal sons return of their own free will.

Laws will be enacted in the near future that will not allow a person to enter a medical facility, a governmental building, a grocery store or any other place of commerce unless a certain requirement is met first, it has been done before, it will be done again.

There are some very serious trials on the horizon, and you are going to have to make a decision, is Matthew 16:25 a truth to you? “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”

Satan can offer nothing more than the continuation of the flesh, another day of life here on this earth which will one day end for all of us, one at a time.

Our faith grows in times of trials, but that does not mean that trial will leave you alive and unscathed, you may die in it. What is approaching cannot be stopped, you will in one way or another be affected by it, and in that moment you will be shown whether you are the chaff or the wheat.

Will your reward be one more day of life, or eternity in the presence of the Living God?

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
