Forced Compassion

Few things are more frustrating, in fact in some cases, more infuriating for the working person, than to see those who could be working, able-bodied people, being enabled by the society they must a pay a large portion of their wages to in taxation.

Even fewer can recognize it for what it is, intended slothfulness for the purpose of forced obedience.

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” (Gen. 3:19)

Satan knows exactly what he is doing my friends, and why.

Few things are more frustrating for those who have set their face like a flint to seek and serve the Living God then meeting those who profess His name, yet refuse to speak of Him publicly, who find in their conversation more exuberance in speaking about the things of this world, who are content to converse about the weather and current events, but who have no desire to talk at length about Spiritual matters.

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” (2nd Tim. 3:5)

Floating through life, willing to receive and happily accept that which requires little to no effort on their part, these two analogies of people have much in common, for in essence, they believe they deserve what they have not strove for.

Forced compassion.

In many nations where enablement is occurring, there is little choice in the matter, those in authority have decided this is what they are going to do, even when it is against the will of the majority of the people they have been elected to serve. It is part of the plan of our adversary, to create divisions, despair, and then anger, followed by violence.

In the church, those who have been born-again, the same plan is in action, not in the form of despair, even though that has also occurred, but in a form of hatred which could best be described as detestable in our minds.

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (2nd Cor. 13:5)

These individuals do not realize that they are not saved, because they follow the form and function of “Christianity,” they believe they are part of the body of Christ. And we are expected to enable them.

“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” (John 7:24)

Correcting and reproving in this world will cause you to be labeled a bigot, a racist, a hater, and so many decide to simply keep their mouth shut, for the consequences for speaking truth today can have dire consequences.

Correcting and reproving those who we know are professing the Lord Jesus Christ only with their lips, whose hearts are far from Him, will have the same effect upon you. We will be told they are simply weaker brothers and sisters in Christ, even when they have sat in those pews for years, sometimes decades. We will be told we are heartless, compassionless, that we are not to judge, and even after we have asked many questions of them, sought diligently and with much prayer to see if indeed they have the Holy Spirit in them, and have found the answer to be no.

We are expected to enable them, coddle them, keep our mouths shut and mind our own business.

In the world and in the church my friends, we are witnessing the fulfillment of this truth.

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matt. 24:12)

Forced compassion, or personal retribution will be placed upon you.

It is the silence of those who have truly been born-again that is deafening, it is the fear that should not be in us that is frustrating, but above all, it is dishonoring to Him whom we say we serve and love.

We are expected to enable all, to live with the frustrations, to keep our mouths shut, and obey.

Do with these truths what you will.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
