Fanciful Thoughts

“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matt. 24:37) A verse that seems to be repeated quite a lot these days, yet not in the totality of wisdom by many. Marrying and giving in marriage means that life was going along as normal, infighting amongst leaders, men beating and abusing their wives, wars, quarrels, murder, sexual immorality, all the normal parts of life.

Many tend to pass right over Genesis 6:5, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Sticking instead to some false image of happy families on picnic, instead of the reason for Genesis 6:13, “And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” Only eight people were completely aware of the imminent danger approaching, only eight people in God’s remnant at that time, only eight souls out of how many thousands upon thousands. How many today do you think?

I meet few people that do not believe in God, most will say they do, but I wonder, because they do not even come close to trembling (James 2:19) when they say so. I will add nothing to Scripture, I am not a foolish person, but I will say this, I liken these days also to the days of Job, for I believe the hedge, if it is not already lowered, is being lowered, and soon will be removed completely.

There are many who have died, a few from the supposed flu, more are dying of the vaccine each day, or being permanently maimed in one way or another. Almost all open debate on social media platforms is being hindered, a sure sign that even a child can see, that truth is not wanted, that lies must be repeated, and often, until they are seen as truth. I do not believe that anyone thought that it could happen so quickly and on such a grand, worldwide scale.

Once the hedge was removed from around Job, everything he knew and loved, save for his wife, was taken from him, he had nothing left. I am no prophet, please remember, this is just idle conversation flowing from the pen of an old man, but the circumstances from that time to ours today is eerily familiar. Not all may feel this loss, many will, but their lives, even their health to a degree, will remain unaffected, for the loss of all that we hold dear can be more than enough for some to not only question the Lord, but to curse Him, a thing that Job did not do, he held his integrity. (Job 1:22)

Here is where I step out even further onto the limb, so to speak, when Satan finally, and for the last time enters into heaven and says, “Skin for skin,” (Job 2:4) the rapture will occur. Like I said, do not put any stock into these words at all, it might be better to just stop reading here and go pick up a good fictional book or watch a movie that is just as ridiculous. I say this though because of Luke 21:36, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

Job had to go through the trial, for us in a sense, to be an example for us, along with so many others in the Scriptures. (1 Cor. 10:11) At the end he was rewarded seven-fold, (Job 42:12-13) some would say here that if we were to follow this train of thought, then the church would need to go through the tribulation, but they forget that no Scripture is of any private interpretation. They would miss the fact of the eight souls on the ark, of Lot and his family being pulled out before the wrath of God fell, of the verse mentioned previously, of 1 Thess. 4:17, of Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” They would need to bypass the fact that the church is not mentioned at all past Revelation chapter Four until we return with the Lord, save for the moments where we are mentioned worshipping Him in heaven during the tribulation period.

One does not separate the chaff from the wheat in one day, not when the field is large, not when there is still time to bring others to Christ. But that time is dwindling quickly, Satan is moving, the hedge is going down, madness is on the march, lies are abounding, truth is being stifled. We must get to work my friends, soon the work for us will be completed.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
