False Prophets

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” (Matt. 24:11)

A false prophet is not only someone who attempts to set dates known only to the Almighty, it is not just a person who claims to have been given a special revelation from the Lord, who promises worldly riches or favors from the Most High if one will only perform a certain deed or say a prayer in a specific manner. A false prophet is also one who intentionally expounds upon the Word of God incorrectly.

Please pay explicit attention to that word “intentionally,” for it matters greatly. All who expound upon the Scriptures do so for a reason, for those who have indeed been called by the Almighty for His service and His glory will make mistakes.

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” (2nd Peter 3:18)

And growing my friends is rarely if ever possible without mistakes.

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” (Prov. 24:16)

There are truths that have been revealed to me that I did not see correctly even just a short time ago, and after searching the Scriptures, after testing the Spirits, after much prayer and research in each of those times over the last few decades, I have each time understood my misinterpretations and giving God the glory, corrected them, as all who desire to serve the Lord more each day do. But not all who profess to speak for the Almighty are this way, and in these final days, as he has done for quite some time now, our adversary is sending many falsehoods to those who believe they are hearing the truth.

It was indeed inevitable, with knowledge abounding, with the advent of social media, there has never been a better time to ensnare as many as possible.

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” (Romans 1:22)

In an odd sort of way, or a play on words if you will, there is a lot of foolishness of preaching going around. People that are searching diligently for something to hold onto will grasp at nearly anything, and Satan is more than willing to supply those items. “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2nd Tim. 3:13)

There are of course those who have been so deceived that they have lost what ability they may or may not have ever had to discern between right and wrong, good and evil. But there are others my friends that know exactly what they are doing, and they are doing it for vainglory. Not all of them will achieve worldwide fame, although some have, but it does not matter to many of them if they do not, they have the attention they seek for, the money flows in, the accolades are poured upon them, and those who follow their lies will defend them viciously.

Spiritual discernment, you must pray diligently and often for Spiritual discernment, for as I have stated before, the future casts a shadow behind it, and the verse in this regard stands, in my most hopefully not incorrect interpretation as the truth. “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matt. 24:24)

The Living God always blesses those He loves with warnings before He moves, these false prophets, or better yet, your blessing of being able to recognize them as such, is one of those warnings.

Now the only question for you is this, what are you going to do with that knowledge?

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
