False Gods

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” (Gen. 12:1)

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (John 15:16)

They followed Nimrod to build a tower, and the Almighty separated them, before that they were all destroyed in the flood, save for eight. Ham founded Egypt, and in hard bondage they served for four hundred years under them, they forgot the Lord and served other gods, and Nebuchadnezzar was raised up.

In the Book of Judges nearly every generation needed to be corrected, for they left off serving Him whom all will serve, in one place or the other.

We who have been born-again are to give the message that two thousand years of the grace of God is coming to a close, that all mankind, because they have forgotten the Living God, because they have served other gods, because they have counted the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as a lite thing, correction is coming, and that billions of people are going to suffer and die. And in so doing, Galatians 4:16 will become a truth in your life.

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”

The preaching of the cross is foolishness to them, much less the truth of what is approaching, they see us as fools who believe the myths of an outdated fictional book, as believers of fables and tall tales, as weak-willed people who offer nothing more than portents of doom. They are no more willing to hear the truths of the approaching days of Jacob’s Troubles than they are willing to hear the truth that their good works will not save them, than the truth of John 14:6. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

In their minds the world will go on, their lives will continue, and we are no more than a minor inconvenience they must endure for that short time that we are in their presence.

“Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zech. 1:3)

To know the truth without any doubts whatsoever and to offer it to those who reject it is to know frustrations, sorrow and grief. To listen to them reject those truths and politely walk away from you back to their false gods and that wide road to hell, to deny the warnings of impending tribulation and eternal damnation is to know rejection, to be counted a fool, to witness death, their death.

The truth has set us free whilst they remain in bondage to whatever lies, whatever false gods they have determined to follow. And the Almighty is going to correct them.

“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matt. 24:22)

He has done it before, many, many times, and He is preparing to do it again.

Our responsibility is to offer them these truths, they are responsible for themselves as to how they accept them. The approaching storm and eternal suffering can only be escaped in one way, and that one way, the Lord Jesus Christ, is what every message we offer hinges on, He is the foundation of every truth we offer to them.

Let them mock you, God is not mocked, let them hate you, you offer them His love, they will not listen, and you will lose friends, family and acquaintances, but gain everything.

“When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” (Eze. 3:18)

The time to say to yourself, “I should have said something to them” is over, the days of embarrassment for His name, of fear of one’s own life, of personal retributions directing your words and actions are over.

“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” (John 12:25)

“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” (Jude 1:23)

Those words we offer them that they consider foolish, they will soon fear.

Speak these truths to them.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
