“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” (Jer. 17:5)
Even when they are proven to be liars, even when their actions do not reflect their words. It never ceases to amaze me how many people will complain about their governments, those in authority over them, but run to them for assistance, protection, and provisions when turmoil arrives. There are very few people who can be considered self-sufficient, who live off the grid completely, those days have by design been slowly removed, ensuring that when trials and troubles appear most will seek the assistance of the government that they detest.
The days that are approaching, which sadly far too many of these letters written to you contain information about, will cause nearly all to seek for food, shelter, water and clothing from those agencies which have ensnared them, by design and for a purpose, to control the population. Those who by their own free will that will not give up their freedoms will be forced to, allowed to die or killed, that is the path of obedience wicked men desire, it has always been so. Even if you have a stockpile of those necessities that ensure the continuation of your life here, sooner or later you will have a need that cannot be met, our adversary is well aware of this, and you cannot outsmart him.
“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” (Psalm 18:2)
The culmination of all that is occurring today in this regard is the mark of the beast, take it and live, refuse it and die, it will be that simple, those who have been crucified with Christ will not be here for those days, but that does not mean that the shadow of this future that is approaching will not cast its darkness upon you and those you love before it arrives. So the question is this then, who are you preparing to trust when those needs of the continuation of life are removed from you?
When will the fear of starvation, the anguish of physical pain that will not abate, the weather that you have no shelter from be too much of a burden for you to deny the invitation of this evil world for its assistance in its offering of just one more day of life?
It is easy to recall the words of promise in the scriptures on a full stomach.
“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” (Romans 14:12) I believe that many of us who serve the Lord Jesus Christ are going to hear, “Why didn’t you trust me?” if He said “where is your faith” to many while He walked amongst them, He will have no problem saying those words to us, and He will expect an answer.
The brute beast are being herded into a pen called obedience and you may need to decide if you are going to join them. Satan is depending on the truth of what he said about those brute beasts, “Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4) That test may arrive in your life, and you will need to make a decision in the moment when Philippians 4:19 seems to be a hollow promise. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
The Lord Jesus Christ requires continuous faith, not just faith when the sun is shining, not obedience when obeying is easy, when it causes us no discomfort. “He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” (Matt. 10:39)
Prepare yourselves accordingly.
