“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Prov. 3:6)
There is great comfort in this verse, it is a promise to those who love the Lord and live their lives for His glory. All things will work for good, He will never leave us or forsake us, no evil nor any plague will come near our dwelling. Persecutions will arise, we will be hated by the world, each word of truth we offer will cause them to hate us even more, but we are loved with an everlasting love.
There is a peace that passes all understanding in these truths, for the more we see of ourselves the less we understand how He could love us.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
We are dust, yet He cherishes us. When we die, our death will be precious in His sight. When we see Him we will be like Him. We are the bride at the Marriage Feast, we are in the Beloved, we are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are loved beyond all measure and human comprehension.
Consider all these words the next time you watch a video about how wickedly the wicked are behaving, contemplate them when you witness the depravity of this fallen world and the darkness that is enveloping it. Use these truths to empower you in your faithfulness to the Living God, heed the call of the Holy Spirit as He speaks to your heart, obey in love Him who first loved you.
Die to self for the glory of God and for the Lord Jesus Christ who bore your sins on the cross, who took the wrath of God for you. Suffer unto blood for the One who spilled His blood for you.
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.” (Psalm 118:1)
We are heirs to the Kingdom of heaven, it is His good pleasure to give it to us. We will walk into eternity in the presence of the Most High God, we will find fulness of joy in His presence, we will know pleasures forevermore. No more tears will wet our faces, no more pain will rack our bodies.
Give thanks my friends, give thanks continuously that He chose you for His own. Rejoice daily in these truths, search the Scriptures constantly for His love, ask Him for the will to submit to His will, pray for guidance on how to live your life for His glory, for the strength to stand in these evil days.
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5)
Pray for wisdom, pray for Spiritual discernment, pray for a heart that can discern between good and evil. Pray to the Living God to bless you with the understanding of all His truths. Pray to be conformed into the image of His wonderful Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
He is more than for you, you are one of His, by grace through faith you are in the Beloved.
Do not let the cares of this world dissuade you from the tasks set before you, do not let the deceitfulness of our adversary move you from the path. Do not let your flesh, your old sinful nature hold sway over you. Trust Him, obey Him, submit to His will, in love and for His glory.
“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” (Psalm 34:8)
All that you want to be can be found in Christ, all that the Father has waiting for you is found in the Savior. Everything we are, everything we could ever desire, all your hopes rest in the Lord Jesus Christ.
You are loved more than you will ever know.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” (1st Cor. 2:9)
