Everything For Your Life

“Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.” (1st Tim. 5:23)

I am going to presuppose that you have seen commercials for pharmaceutical goods, pills, injections and the such, that proclaim that this product will alleviate your symptoms, or perhaps at least lesson them to some degree. And I am going to also presume that you noticed that nearly half of that commercial interruption, if not more, of that products side effects are mentioned in that commercial, some of them quite disturbing, if not deadly to some.

I do not know why Timothy suffered from stomach ailments, but that is not really the question, the cure is what we seek, is it not?

“For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.” (2nd Cor. 12:8)

To those of you who did not do so, do you recall being ostracized, ridiculed, derided and perhaps even threatened for not wearing the mask? Do you recall all those our adversary employed to pronounce that there were absolutely no side effects to the injection meant to protect you from the dreaded virus encircling the planet, how they proclaimed that those who refused to join them should be separated, locked away and forced to receive their “perfect cure?”

“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” (Psalm 118:6)

Now the brute beasts are being led into the pen of climate change, to the cage of immigration, of the transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich, they are being taught to fear the next fearful event, and they will obey.

No matter the current and projected scenario of the god of this world at this time, his voice rings clear in every one of them. “And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4)

I do not mean in any way to lift up the father of lies by this statement, but he was right in this, every brute beast, all who do not serve the Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of God will do everything within their power, will give all they have for the continuation of their life.

“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1st Cor. 15:55)

Why did they put a mask on, why did they roll up their sleeve, why will they, of their own free will, allow that mark to be placed on their hand or forehead?

Why did so many lock their church doors?

I’m not supposed to bring this topic up, am I?

If you have been saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and you put on that mask, if you received one or more of those injections, and if you fully understand those words of Satan, then now you either feel bad about yourself or have offered yourself so many excuses for the reasons you did so that you have forgiven yourself for those fears.

You may be living for Christ, but is death gain to you today? Is climate change less of a fear for you than the invisible virus?

I expect nothing from anyone that reads these letters I am led to write each day, if they encourage you, if they cause you to hate me, or if they cause you to look at yourself, I put pen to paper and place there what I am told to.

“And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.” (Luke 8:25)

Where is that Faith? Taken away by the stormy sea, by the famine, plague and the storm, by those who came to take Him to be crucified that night. By a supposed pandemic.

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” (Prov. 24:16)

And so seven times we learn to trust Him just a little more.

You can prepare as many of them in your mind as you want to, but on your day of accounting, not one of them will be accepted.

If this letter was written to you, it matters not to me if it made you feel bad, what I do care about is that you contemplate it.

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)
