An enabled society is an easily controlled society, no different than the drug dealer’s favorite junkie, controllable. The effect is the same, continue enabling without personal accountability, remove the drug, until certain actions are performed, and only then will they begin to understand that they have been on a leash that entire time.
“All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matt. 24:8)
It is saddening to watch the wicked being led astray so easily, the poor subservient to the rich, who are in turn slaves to their own desires, and in these evil days we will witness the gap growing increasingly wider.
Our adversary’s plan is for despair to grow in both classes though, and since the love of money is the root of all evil, it is through this that he will cause what has always been his desire, to be worshipped as mankind’s messiah.
“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” (Matt. 24:7)
All for the love of money.
The enabled will be taught that if they desire to continue to receive that which they have not earned, they will be required to fulfill certain obligations. The wealthy will need to give up some of their wealth and possessions, and many of the rulers of some nations will need to be made to understand their place. The antichrist will offer much, for in a sense, all will be his to offer, for he is the tool of Satan, and this world for now still belongs to him.
The point of all this, my friends is to cause you to contemplate just where and when you plan on making your stand, where you have determined to set your red line, as it is called.
“But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.” (Matt. 5:37)
I personally do not believe that we who have been born-again are going to be allowed to be nothing more than “innocent bystanders” as the days grow darker, and I do not mean so much in regard to our personal witness for the Lord, but in the fact of certain wants and needs. If food rationing begins, we will not be given preference, fuel rationing, the ability to travel freely, all these things we take for granted may be taken away from us.
Unless you obey.
Herein lies the foundation of forced subservience, it begins with enablement, it ends with a collar and leash, it always has, it always will.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19)
The enabled are easily controlled when those wants and needs are removed, like the junkie, they will do almost anything for that next fix. We must not be so. But you must prepare your heart to possibly suffer.
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:” (2nd Tim. 2:12)
No place to lay your head, not sure where your next meal is going to come from, getting used to the same unwashed clothes every day. Living in faith, in the hope of the promises, or knocking on the door of our adversary’s emissaries, and putting that leash on.
“And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4)
These are the days that are approaching, and this is the decision you must make. Cold, tired, hungry, looking through the window of those inside feasting and making a decision to either go in where it’s warm, or look to Him who has promised to never leave you or forsake you.
If you have not contemplated these scenarios, now would be a good time to start.
“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;” (1st Peter 1:13)
The Lord Jesus Christ walked willingly to that cross, He asks us to deny ourselves for His glory. Think twice the next time you decide to go into debt, to accept that form of enablement, in no matter what form it is, remember who it is you serve.
