Deceptions and Diversions

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;” (Col. 1:9)

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2nd Tim. 3:13)

Without the first verse offered, it is very likely you will fall into the second one, for deceptions abound in these evil days. Nearly everything you see on your television screen or monitor is meant to be a diversion in relation to the path of sin the world has chosen. The main diversions have never changed, keep those who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ eyes off Him, and those who do know Him as Lord must have their eyes and ears tuned to anything but what is happening in the Spiritual realm.

Sadly, this second one has become far too easy with many, they are not devoted to the lust of their eyes, but their eyes wander far too frequently, the lust of their flesh calls them to do anything required to remain alive, and their pride, that selfish beast that must be fed continuously, believes that trials and tribulations, suffering and sorrow will pass them by, because they are loved.

If you see only what your eyes can see and hear only what your ears can hear, you are not listening to the Holy Spirit, and deception through diversions will capture you.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2nd Peter 3:9)

We have been chosen to live in these days, we are called to see past the illusions the world is offering, wars and rumors of wars are expected, the diversions are expected, for truth must not be allowed to flourish.

Many who know the truth of the recent supposed pandemic, who were blessed to be able to see through nearly two years of lies were not just hindered from speaking the truth, but were openly criticized, humiliated, ostracized and in some cases severely punished.

Those who have and still do speak up against the sodomites and their pride flag are harshly rebuked, canceled by losing the ability to stand for the truth, even unto imprisonment.

Those who openly denounce the horrific misuse of small children and the right they are to have to decide their own gender, even unto the mutilation of their bodies are cast from society.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

Those who have diligently prayed for and received wisdom and Spiritual discernment saw these days approaching long ago, and as any good soldier does, they have prepared for the battle. Not the battle for their soul, for that is secure in the hands of the Living God, not in ways that attempt to prolong their lives as long as possible, for Philippians 1:21 is the truth, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Eph. 6:13)

We cannot stop Satan’s advancements, it is the Almighty that is lowering the hedges, but we can pray earnestly to be blessed with the wisdom to know what to do, and the Spiritual discernment to see the truth of what is occurring. If we do not, we will be deceived, and those who are deceived are, at least temporarily, on the wrong path.

You are not going to like what you see; you will believe even your best efforts are fruitless, but we are not seeking rewards here, we are not looking for our voices to be heard, but the truths of the Word of God.

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Heb. 10:31)

We are safe in His hands, we are the elect, but if you do not pray for wisdom and Spiritual discernment, many of those diversions will deceive you.
