Just some conjecture, with much seriousness behind it, if you will allow me to. It takes very little effort to see that evil is growing exponentially across the planet, the question is why?
Much spiritual discernment must be applied here, for many times what we are being shown by the media outlets of the world is nothing more than a very small minority at best, made to seem much larger in scope than what it truly is, but there is indeed a very large outpouring of evil, and the reason must be explored if we are to apply Proverbs 21:12 here, “The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.”
My first conjecture point would be this, that Satan knows something is happening, something new, and since we know that he still has access to at least a part of heaven, this may be one of the reasons. I associate this with the marriage feast that we, the body of Christ, will be attending, and although I can only add human thought to it, all marriage feasts take at least a little time to prepare for. This most solemn occasion is, to put it in layman’s terms, a very big deal, and for someone that was once the covering cherubim (Eze. 28:14) even the smallest of changes in heaven would be noticed.
My second point, which may also not be too farfetched, would be between angels and demons. These were once brothers, inhabiting the Spiritual realm that the Lord created for them, and as I have mentioned before, there must have been much conversation, finally turning to contention, when Lucifer began to coerce some to follow him instead of the Lord. I do not think that they have stopped speaking to each other, although the topics of conversation have of course been modified quite a bit. If the right questions are asked in the right manner, demons may have been given some information as to what is going on in heaven at this time.
My third conjecture point would be this, Satan and of course the demons, have noticed the truth of Matthew 24:11, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” Along with “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” (2 Tim. 4:3) The ability to know who is saved and who is not would, in my opinion, be quite easy for them, for we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” (Prov. 4:18) No one can lose their salvation, but we do have the ability to quench the Spirit, (1 Thess. 5:19) and the less there are that are willing to truly stand in these days of evil, the less hindrance there is to the demonic hoard whose purpose it is to dishonor God in whatever way they can.
The fourth, and perhaps most viable conjecture point is one that I have heard men of God speaking about for a few years now, it is that the Lord, for His glory and reasons, has pulled His hand of mercy away from the planet as a whole, and has replaced it with that of coming judgment. The sins of the lost, as they did in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, have come up to God, (Gen.18:20) and when coupled together with this current age of apostacy and weak-willed Christians, this would seem self-evident. All of the occurrences in nature, as we call them, across the planet do most definitely appear to be last days signs.
In hindsight, as I pen these words, it almost seems as if all four points of conjecture are at, for lack of a better word, a point of convergence. There is much of course going on in the Spiritual realm at this moment, things that we are not privy to, for we do not need to know, we need only to remain secure in the knowledge that God is in control, that His will for His glory is being accomplished, and that we are safe in His hands. Until He tells you to do otherwise, continue to serve Him as you have been directed to.
