“Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.” Today, many of those in authority are attempting to erase the past, thereby, in their minds, being able to repeat parts of it without anyone understanding what the outcome will be. Socialism, Marxism, Communism, call it what you will, the purpose is for the few to control the many.
I’m fairly sure that from the time of Malachi to when Christ was born, around 400 years, the Pharisees began to do the same things that we are witnessing today, mandating rules, regulations and laws claiming they were from the Almighty. The Roman Catholic cult is perhaps nothing more than an extension of those times, burdening the people that follow their lies with those same mandates that they themselves will not lift a finger to do. (Matt. 23:4) The Lord used Rome to step in at that time, much as He did with Nebuchadnezzar, Egypt, and many other nations over the centuries.
The mandates that many countries across the planet are initiating are of the same accord, God is beginning to move by allowing evil to move forward, and the forgetting of the Most High is of the utmost importance to our adversary. The destruction of the family, the replacing of the man with the woman, and even sometimes with the child as the leader of the home will compare as nothing when this step leads to fruition for our adversary. “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thess. 2:4)
The forgetfulness of the Lord began long ago, not by those who are lost, for they have never known Him, much less recognized Him as the Creator of all that is, but by those who call themselves Christians. They have replaced Him with self, with the world, with the cares of the day, and recall Him, at best, on Sunday morning. There is little fear of God anymore, and as Satan has done over the past few decades for himself, he will do, in a sense, with the Almighty. It is difficult to be swayed by someone if you do not believe they exist.
It is not the Lord moving in great signs and wonders, it is climate change, it is not sin and all the depravity that is causing all of man’s problems, it is misunderstood people who simply are not allowed to express themselves. Inclusivity and enablement are the answer, not men and women on their knees pleading with the Lord to be merciful.
It is necessary in the plan of the adversary for God to die in the minds of men, and for that plan to come to fruition, those who serve Him must die.
I do not know how much of all this will occur while we are still in this world, before the rapture, but I do know that those who come to the salvation offered by God through Jesus Christ during the tribulation period will know this suffering, no man loves his life to the end that is not being hunted down.
Pulling statues down, rewriting history and textbooks are a sure sign of the times that are approaching, the beginnings of sorrows. (Matt. 24:8) “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” (Daniel 7:25) It has begun, and soon what was once thought of as impossible in some nations will become a reality. I might suggest that you in earnest begin to hide His Word in your heart, perhaps not immediately, but soon, the Holy Word of God will be an illegal book, for that is the one part of the past that must be destroyed.
