Certain Tools

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

Unless the Lord gives you the tools to perform the tasks that will bring glory to His name, you will struggle in vain, no purpose of man outside of the will of God will accomplish anything for His glory, not one thing you attempt will lift up the name of Jesus Christ, without the Holy Spirit guiding you and your submitting to His will, you will fail, no matter how intent your heart is on the subject matter.

I believe today you would be extremely hard pressed to find a pastor who does not own at least one device that is connected to the internet, who uses it to garner not only information that will enable him to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, but to pass that gained knowledge, and hopefully wisdom along to those who fill the pews on Sunday morning. In respect to those tools, how many internet preachers would find themselves floundering if that ability to post their thoughts and concerns online was taken from them?

I can use myself as an example here, through the videos and letters I am led to make and write I can attempt to reach nearly every person on the planet that has internet access, in fact without that capability I would need to be led upon a different path, as many others would be. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

There are of course book publishers and television, and for those of you that are old enough and remember, not so long ago those and perhaps magazines were the only possible outlet for those such as myself. But these are not the tools that I am referring to, these are indeed a blessing, as the internet can be, but they are the tools of men. Those that come from the Lord do not need those tools, His are permanent and bestowed upon all that will ask for them if their desire is to see the Lord glorified.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5) Wisdom is the principal thing, and this wisdom we speak of here cannot be obtained by the lost.

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;” (Col. 1:9) The ability to rightly divide the word of truth is Spiritual discernment, without it, you will be led astray.

“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?” (1st Kings 3:9) Tell me, have you been able to clearly see the evil of this world long before the events that began unfolding three years ago?

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17:17) Only God can show you truth, not only from and in His Word, but the truth of the lie of this world.

Wisdom, Spiritual discernment, the ability to discern between good and evil, truth, these are the tools that enable us to be profitable servants for the Most High God, attempting to move forward on the path that He has placed you on without them will cause failure, without seeking first the Kingdom of God, without desiring to glorify Him in every aspect of your life, you will find yourself grasping at the wind.

You have been blessed with certain talents, and the Lord has seen fit to add at least one gift to your life, purpose to use them for Him with the tools He is offering you.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
