By His Will

“See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.” (Deut. 32:39) “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” (Isaiah 45:7)

The Lord Jesus is not who many suppose Him to be, especially not in this age that we live in, far too many think that He is nothing more than kindness, mercy and compassion, that love, His love for us, overrides all of His other attributes, that the wrath of God that abides on the wicked is not actually from Jesus, but from God. Jesus is God, God is the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is Jesus, they are one, yet three separate persons.

I would ask you to pay attention here, for many of you may not even finish this letter, many of you are not going to like what is written here, but by deductive reasoning, and the truths of not only those two opening verses, but by the entirety of not only the world of man, but the Word of God, we are going to come to the realization that since God is Sovereign, He is responsible for evil. Not something many, if not most, want to hear. “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.” (Col. 1:16)

Nothing exists that God does not allow to exist, He is neither bound by, hindered, or controlled by any of His creation, all things serve the will of God for His glory. “The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” (Prov. 16:4)

God created the angels, He created Lucifer, Satan, He is omniscient, the Almighty knows everything that is happening, ever has happened and ever will happen, all that is, will be and ever was is open to Him. One does not need to be saved by the grace of God to understand then that since these facts are truth, when God created Satan, far before He made our adversary, He knew what was going to happen, and He let it happen.

If the Lord had not created Satan, if He had not allowed him into the garden of Eden to tempt Eve, then there would be no pain or suffering. The choice of giving mankind free will is of no consequence to this debate, for the Lord knew full well what was going to happen, and what has been occurring for the last six thousand years or so. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” (Isaiah 55:8) If you cannot understand the word Sovereign and the only One that it applies to, the Lord God, the Almighty, then you cannot serve God as He intended for us to serve Him, for He is the One who created the ability for all evil to exist. There is no way around this truth.

Those who have been saved from their sins, those who have called upon the name of the Lord in faith for their salvation are saved from what the Lord God created in the first place, if He had not created Satan, if He had not placed that tree in the garden of Eden, if He had not given not only the angels some modicum of free will, and mankind an even greater degree of that same free will, babies would not be aborted, puppies would not be kicked to death, there would be no pain and suffering. But there would be no us.

Free will has nothing to do with this topic, the Sovereignty of the Almighty to do as He pleases does, and this is what He has decreed, this is what He wants done, and so as in all things, His will, will be done. God created Satan, He created Adam and Eve, He knew what was going to happen, and He allowed it to occur.

I would ask that you give some very serious thought to this final statement, for this is the God we serve, in all humility, honor and praise. The Lord God knew the names of every single person that are going to be in the Lake of Fire for all eternity long before He created the heavens and earth. He knows where you are going to go when you die, do you?

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
