By Grace Through Faith

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2nd Cor. 12:9)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9)

Grace is unmerited favor, giving someone what they do not deserve and what they cannot in anyway earn for themselves.

Those who believe that some work is required by the Almighty from us for the salvation of their soul do not understand the word “grace,” and it matters not what work, deed or words you can imagine here. We have absolutely nothing to offer that can be added to the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

No good deed can outweigh any one bad deed, grace alone saves us.

This truth is not just incomprehensible to most people, it is completely rejected by them, and at the foundation of their misunderstanding, their denial of this truth, lays pride.

“I did something, so now I am worthy to be accepted by Him who reigns on high,” is exactly the same thing as saying, “His grace is not sufficient, the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ was not enough, His sacrifice means nothing, unless I add some work of my own to it.”

Anyone who believes that we are not saved by grace through faith is not saved, any my friends, and if you believe it’s difficult to witness to the lost, to those of whom Psalm 14:1b speaks of, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.” then try speaking to those who sit in the pews of almost every church across the planet who believe they must do something to be saved.

It matters not if it is baptism in water, the lies of Romanism, infant baptism, repeating the proper words in the correct order, or any of a million other works that could be written here, if it is by anything other than His grace, His unmerited favor that you believe in for salvation, you are not saved, you will not enter into the Kingdom of the Living God.

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” (Romans 1:22)

They will offer verse after verse, and if you are going to contend with them, you must understand these verses, and how every one of them must be seen in the truth of His grace.

Those who will not believe this truth will be held accountable at the Great White Throne of Judgment, and then after the truth of the sufficiency of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed to them, they will be cast into the Lake of Fire, those who are saved by grace will give their account long before that day, right before they are glorified, and the account will be of what we did for the glory of God because of His grace.

“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” (Prov. 16:18)

If you believe that His shed blood was not enough, if you believe that you have anything that is acceptable enough to be mingled with that precious blood, then your pride is deceiving you, and you are not saved.

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1st Peter 2:24)

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” (Col. 3:3)

You cannot hide yourself in Christ, He either chooses you or He does not, even our faith is a gift from the Most High, our ability to believe in His grace is a gift, those who will not accept that gift, who want to believe they must perform some work, are the ones not chosen.

Grace, His grace towards salvation does not negate our free will, the choice has always been ours to make, else no one could ever be held accountable for their choice.

There is no other way to be saved but by grace through faith.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
