But What About!!

It isn’t the Almighty modifying certain aspects of the planet, its climate change.

It’s not the love of many growing cold because the time of the Gentiles is coming to an end, its people having difficulty accepting and loving others as they are, without judging them.

It isn’t that the Holy Spirit is allowing demonic forces more leeway to entice and deceive even more people, it’s simply the wealthiest exerting more power over the poor and downtrodden, and the only answer is equity and enablement.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44)

And do you know what my friends? Most people do not care in the least. If their daily needs are met, if they can still acquire some of their wants occasionally, they do not care at all.

The media will reveal only that which should be feared, and if not feared, then railed against, and those who are so easily deceived will fight their imaginary battles for them.

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matt. 6:34)

“But what about those wars! What about this they say may happen or that other thing they say is imminent!”

The first step is always control of the thoughts of those you desire to conquer, get them to question, get them to doubt, cause anything they see or hear that does not align with their intended path to be labeled misinformation. Keep the fact checkers on the forefront.

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” (Gen. 3:1)

On the most personal, intimate level, I know exactly what is going to happen, I am going to serve the Lord Jesus Christ to the best of my ability through Him that strengthens me for as long as I am able. Then I am going to die.

Everyone alive in the year 1860, no matter where they lived on this planet, thought there were so many important things going on around them. Not one of those people are alive today.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Heb. 9:27)

The majority of them wanted the same thing that the majority of people want today, to live their lives in some form of relative peace and security. And a very small percentage of those alive then told them to fear, to despair, to lose hope. Nothing changes.

Are the days of Jacob’s Troubles about to begin? I personally think so. Does that alter the message we have been sent to give as those who are hid in Christ? Not in the least.

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31)

“But what about what’s going on over there! What about all the signs!”

Show then those things, if you can verify them implicitly from the Scriptures, and then get back to what you were sent to do, search for the lost, love and encourage the brethren, and keep yourself unspotted from the world.

For such an enormous and eternal task that has been set before us, it really is quite that easy my friends. Study the Scriptures occasionally and regularly, contemplate them daily and at length, and do those three things you have been sent to do.

If they are living in fear, reveal the One to them that can remove all fear. If they are living in complacency, reveal to them the urgency of making a decision, that life is shorter than they think, and can be cut off without warning at a moments notice.

If they curse and mock you, move on, if they persecute you, offer them actions of love.

Yes indeed, things are changing rapidly, all that means is that we should be more attentive to the task set before us.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
