Because they don’t want to look at it, if they see it, they have to admit it as truth, and hiding from the truth is always easier than facing it.

From basically day one, “and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God,” to today, “This content has been removed for false information,” nothing changes in the area of evil. One would think that more people would be able to see these truths, but the Scriptures stand alone as truth in these days. “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2 Tim. 3:13)

It’s easier not to look on evil for some who profess Christ, they would just as soon attempt to remain happy, to always be optimistic for the world of man, to disbelieve the horrors and atrocities of evil, and above all, to almost always impart those evil actions to Satan. Self-deception is the easiest deception to believe, and this is where they prefer to be, if you were to ask them of the supposed cross they carry, their answer would reflect only upon themselves, bad feelings about themselves, perhaps smoking too much, eating too much, anything as long as it is not the evil of the world. I will not speak of some of the atrocities that I have seen, they are far too horrible to mention, but evil cannot be unseen, and above all it is to be hated.

The fear of the Lord is reverential trust and a hatred of evil, we are commanded to hate the evil, (Prov. 8:13) and if you have desired to be one that has been blessed by the Lord to thirst and hunger for righteousness, (Matt. 5:6) then the only way that is going to happen is if He shows you unrighteousness, if He shows you evil.

There is great pain and suffering going on in this planet every moment of everyday, horrific things that the average person cannot, or will not accept as reality, but they are happening, and hating them needs to be more than a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach. “Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?” (Matt. 25:37) Most who see these acts of evil upon both man and beast turn their heads, they do not want to get involved, they are exactly like the first two who passed by the ailing man in the account of the good Samaritan, there could be personal retribution. Others will simply deny that anyone could be that cruel, that sadistic, and so they will just chalk it up to an overzealous imagination of the informer of that bad news, or as stated before, blame those actions on Satan.

The amount of evil that is being brought upon nearly all of mankind today is unprecedented, but according to the fact checkers, those who for their own reasons have either determined or have been coerced into following the given narrative, times are fine, and will only get better. As born-again believers, we know what is approaching, and in comparison, these days are just a walk in the park. “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” (Matt. 24:21)

It is going to get very bad out there my friends, how bad before we are removed, I cannot say, but I can say this, if you are not standing against evil when you see it, you are not standing for Christ. “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” (Matt. 12:30) It is going to cost you something, walking with Jesus Christ always costs something, what you have to decide is, is that something worth the price that was paid for you.
