Because Of Truth

The truth that I seek from the Lord I both look forward to with great anticipation and joy, and with exceeding fear and dread.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17:17)

The joy of the knowledge of His truths being expounded to me, and to all that through the Holy Spirit that He reveals to us, is beyond measure, to know without a doubt that it is He who wrote the Holy Bible that is the One who is explaining in detail exactly what He meant when He wrote it is, at least in a small way, to find the face of God when we have diligently sought for Him.

A particular passage in context, woven together as strong as a three-fold cord, removes all doubts of its validity.

The one to whom He chooses to reveal His truths accepts them as such after much testing of the Spirits, much prayer, and he needs no historical documentation, no visible proof, nothing outside of His Word is required.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight:” (2nd Cor. 5:7)

But we are all hard-hearted people, set in our ways, some are misled by religious traditions, what they have been taught by man they view as the oracles of the Almighty, and so relatively few actually are consumed by a desire to have His truths revealed to us. We fear what we have believed will be proven wrong, our interpretations will have been incorrect, and we will have to change our perception of who the Almighty actually is.

I have lost, and in some cases, removed from my life, all that were my family and friends because of the acceptance of His truths. Many who once called me a brother in Christ have left off conversing with me, even making every attempt to avoid me, they remain polite, yet curt when we happen to cross paths, and always seem to have someplace they need to be when we meet.

“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” (Prov. 9:9)

For there is something that you must seriously consider if you desire to live a life in the pursuit of God my friends, if your heart is set towards Him and His truths above all other facets of this life, the truth that will be revealed to you must be revealed to those you meet.

And without question, truth, specifically the truths of the Word and will of God, are not what many people want to hear, for it means they must accept the fact that they have been incorrect. Their thoughts must be modified, their entire life changed, removed from their comfort zone, they will rebel against His truth.

And you will be viewed as one filled with pride, attempting to set yourself above them, as better than them. As the one who is wrong.

“Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.” (Jer. 7:27)

To pray for wisdom, for Spiritual discernment, for a heart that can discern between good and bad, to recognize lies, has at its foundation the search for truth, absolute, unquestionable truth. And only the Holy Spirit can reveal it to you.

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (1st Cor. 13:13)

But without His truths, none of these will grow fruit.

I look forward every day to the revelation of His truths, and then I spend many days, or longer, praying and doing diligent research, testing the Spirits, before I dare to open my mouth and reveal those truths to anyone else.

The anticipation always grows, the fears of being ostracized fade away, for there is no other path to those who seek His truths than to seek His face.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
