Borrowed Truths

Be Strong, Remain Strong

Anxiousness and nervousness come first, nothing overly serious, nothing debilitating, just a slight trepidation, a hesitancy in a sense that does not stop forward momentum, but inhibits it to a degree. Call it a slight twinge, a feeling that something is not quite right, that something is amiss. Fear has not shown up yet, that will take some time to arrive, but it is now, in these moments of hesitation that we still have the ability and the freedom to act.

For those who have been blessed by the Lord with eyes to see and ears to hear, we know not only what is occurring and what is about to transpire, but we have been blessed with the only voices left to warn others of what is going to happen. We know the future, we are the only people on the entire planet that do, and so, as born-again believers who are willing, even compelled to speak the truth to all that will listen, we are the enemies of the world, specifically to the spiritual powers of darkness and in high places. (Eph. 6:12)

To silence us will be their goal, for the plan that they are unfolding is evil at its core, and so as children and servants of the Most High God, we can go no further than the anxious stage, continuing fear must not be found in us. Fear, personal retribution on an individual level, will be the enemy’s greatest weapon against us, and it will come in many different forms. They have no concern whatsoever with the lost, with the herd, they are already being corralled, they are of their own free will behaving as they have been told to, the protesters on the streets nightly now in almost every major city across the planet will be dealt with in whatever way is necessary to subdue them, to bring them into compliance will increase, but in time, besides small factions, they too will also submit. Pain and imprisonment is a great persuader.

We as followers of Christ will not have that choice, our only weapon, the only weapon that is effective against the armies of our adversary is the truths of the Word of God. It is by His strength that we will stand, yet many will also fall in these days to come, not only in the flesh, but in their resolve. During these days the chaff, those who are only professing the Lord with their lips (Matt. 15:8) will be separated from the wheat, but the wheat will feel the pains of these days as well, some more than they would desire, none more than they can take, for the Lord is merciful and gracious.

It is not in our own strength that we will stand, the battle is the Lord’s, He places no more on any of His children than they can handle, but it is not until we step into the fray that we will know how much that is, and those who will not perform even that small action may find themselves most unprofitable in the final day. Not one of us would have chosen this time to live in, but every one of us find ourselves here, and here and now is where we are being called to serve. If you have been crucified with Christ, if your life is no longer your own, (1 Cor. 6:20) then it is an honor and privilege to serve the Lord in whatever form He asks of us, but not one of us should live in fear, we know our end. “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jer. 29:11)

Do not pray continuously to be taken out of this world for your own personal safety, pray for the strength to stand, pray for deliverance from fear, pray for the ability to rejoice in these days, for we are one day closer to eternal rejoicing. Praise His name for writing your name in His Book of Life, thank Him daily for the perfect love that He has blessed us with, the perfect love that casts out all fear. (1 John 4:18) “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” (Deut. 31:6)

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
