Picture of Borrowed Truths

Always His

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Rev. 1:8)

I believe that every person who has been born again would agree on these truths, that the Lord God knows the beginning from the end, that He is omniscient, that He knew when you were going to be born, when you will die, every word you would say, ever deed you would do, even every single thought that you would entertain. “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” (Heb. 4:13)

He knew before the foundation of the world where you will spend eternity, so I ask this question to those of you who believe you can lose the free gift of salvation, by no matter how you think it could occur, since the Lord knows everything about you and has even before you were born, why would He save you with the full knowledge of that action, word or deed that you suppose can cause you to lose the gift of salvation?

Logic dictates this to be an impossibility, for you must agree with our opening verses in this poorly written letter, or you must by default suggest that they are false. It cannot be reiterated enough, if the Lord knew you were going to sin so badly that He would remove His free gift of salvation from you, then He would never have given that gift to you in the first place, you have either been chosen before the foundation of the world, secured for all eternity, or you have not.

This truth does not negate our responsibility towards salvation, it is God that chooses and it is man that believes unto salvation. Both are true no matter how we care to look at it. The mind of man cannot reconcile the free will of man and the Sovereignty of God, but the logical truths offered still stand firm, the Almighty will not choose anyone for salvation with the full foreknowledge of the intent of their heart, a heart that He knew before they were born would not fully be turned towards Him.

You cannot lose, give up, return, turn away from or in any other way be lost once you are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is logically impossible.

To those of you who have already attained to these truths you will see that those who have not yet understood them as such have based their faith on an emotional context that has at its core deceived their heart, they live in a form of constant fear, continuously attempting to adhere to some form of moral construct so as to remain in the good graces of the Lord, and thereby in His favor. Stepping over the line in their minds means losing their salvation. They find no security in the intellect, and so are driven by their emotions.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jer. 17:9)

I repeat myself, for I believe this is vitally important, either you believe that the Most High knows everything about everyone and everything from the beginning to the end or you do not, and if you do, then by default you must agree that He would not grant salvation to anyone that He knew would do something that could cause them to lose it, or for Him to remove it.

Only you know your heart, you know whether or not you are His, and if you are, then there is no question that you always will be His.

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)
