All The World

I didn’t have to get up today and start a fire so that the vegetables my wife and I did not plant in the garden could start simmering in the water that I did not have to go to the lake to fetch in the container that I did not make. Some people on the planet did, some need to struggle each day just to provide enough food for themselves and their family to survive.

The cure-all of technology has not remedied this, but you can watch cat videos while you sit on a subway train now.

The lie of the “Build Back Better” from the World Economic Forum is just that, another lie of Satan, it takes very little for most people to fall for those lies, simply offer them more than what they currently possess, either materialistically or in the form of temporary power. “For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.” (Matt. 26:11) But the poor are a great ticket, if you will, to power and control, because caring about them shows compassion, even when it is only feigned. Benevolent Kings are always admired.

Of course, those with the most financial resources always assume a leadership role in this area, promises are made, minor actions are undertaken, and then they leave their meetings in their personal jets or helicopters, fly to their enclaves or high-rise dwelling, fair sumptuously, and go about the business of enjoying the pleasurable things of life, while the poor may or may not get a bag of rice and a bottle or water that day.

I believe that most people can see through their lies, at least in a secular way, but few do more than either complain that they do not possess those items the wealthy own, or just continue about their daily lives expecting nothing from them. “But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.” (Luke 16:25)

One does not need to be influenced by Satanic enticements to fall into the traps of the world, not all in positions of authority or those of great wealth intend evil upon their fellow man, they simply just do not care about them, the donations and foundations they set up may actually have been put in place because of a desire to help those who are less fortunate, who either did not have the same opportunities as them, or for whatever reason would not apply themselves. But make no mistake, if the Lord was to say the same to them as He did to the rich young ruler, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.” (Matt. 19:21), their reaction would be the same as his was.

The point of this short letter is twofold for the born-again believer, the knowledge that the poor will always be amongst us, and the envy, the covetousness that we experience at times of those who have much in the world. Some of those poor were born into impoverished families, they will live a destitute life, and they will die paupers. It is why we are to realize our blessings and to share them, but you cannot assist everyone of them, even if you give all you own.

The covetousness, that envy that you feel at times can quite easily move to the emotion of jealousy, and your life can become more than just a burden, you will not only begin to hate it for the wrong reasons, but you will begin to blame God for giving the wicked much, and withholding from you those things that they possess. Are you aware that 92% of everyone who has ever won a large lottery sum is bankrupt within five years?

It is in our nature to want more than we have, but that shiny new acquirement loses its luster quite quickly. “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.” (Matt. 6:20) Let the world go its way, accept what the Lord has blessed you with, find pleasure in Him, don’t be deceived by the items of this world that can bring only temporary happiness, there is no joy in them. “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.” (Luke 4:5)

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
