Against Thee Only

Sin and the continuance in it, resulting in eternal damnation, or sin, and the repentance of it, receiving eternal life, by grace through faith.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

There is no escaping it, only the very young to whom the Almighty has yet to hold accountable for their actions, the mentally retarded, who from birth until death are incapable of recognizing the difference between good and bad, and those that, in a way only the Most High has left to His own design, are as Jeremiah 1:5. “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

Sin from our youth will remain a part of our lives until our final breath. It is not until we recognize this truth about sin that the reality of it will draw our attention to it.

“Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.” (Psalm 51:4)

Sins in the realm of man require some form of punishment, there is no nation on this earth that does not live under some form of law, and each law imposed is gradient toward their ideology of the depth of the infraction, greater sins require greater punishments. Yet men do not live by their own self-imposed laws, wealth, status and position can negate many, if not all laws for some, and this in itself is a great sin against the Lord our God.

“For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” (Romans 13:4)

Yet here is a truth all who have been born-again must consider as we watch this world slip into darkness as the days of the time of the Gentiles comes to a close.

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)

When the antichrist arrives, chaos as we see it in its beginnings today, will not rule, external lawlessness in its present form will cease to exist, for one cannot rule when chaos is visibly present, yet behind the scenes, evil will continue for seven years almost unabated.

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” (2nd Thess. 2:7)

People want peace and security while still retaining the ability to sin without consequences for their actions, and unless we see our sins, no matter how small, as actions committed against the will and Word of God, we will be no less than those brute beasts fitted for destruction.

“As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.” (1st Peter 2:16)

From one nation to another, the laws concerning certain sins vary as those who are in authority over them have determined, for the people of the Lord Jesus Christ, this is not so, we adhere to those laws set by man until they are recognized as against the will of God, and in this my friends, if you have not studied to show yourself approved, if you are not seeking His face, contemplating His words, praying for His truths to be revealed to you, you may have more to answer for on your day of accounting than you expected.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?” (1st Kings 3:9)

We must know when to say “No,” we must be able to recognize not just what the world considers a small sin or a large sin, we must know what sin is, and we must recognize that all sin is against the Almighty.

No excuses will be accepted here, we have the Word of God, we have the Holy Spirit indwelling us, we have every opportunity to pray for wisdom, knowledge and truth before we make any decisions in this life.

How we stand in these evil days reveals who it is we serve, and we are expected to stand no matter the personal consequences to ourselves.

Are you worthy of the incredible price that was paid for you?

Will you stand until the end?

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
