You have the ability to, but you do not have the right to.
“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Eze. 18:4)
If you are a male and want to believe you are female, or vice versa, you have the ability, but it is God’s property that you are attempting to take control over, and that right is not yours. If pride swells up so high in you that you want to believe that you will sit in the sides of the north, you are free to believe that, but you have no right to do so.
“The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1)
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Gen. 1:1)
You have no rights whatsoever, you have been blessed with free will, and that allows you to think however you desire to, but it changes not one of the facts, what has been created by the Almighty belongs to the Almighty.
Mankind has the ability to modify his perception of the know realities that exist, but that does not change those realities, and in these evil days we live in that insanity is prevalent, the rights you believe you have are an illusion. The one who claims to be self-sufficient, even if he never purchases one item in his life, who grows all his own food, makes his own clothing, uses the items that the Lord has created to do so.
When John 15:5 is contemplated here, it takes on an entirely new meaning, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” Only the Lord God is self-sustaining, He needs nothing, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” (James 1:17)
This ideology, these games that people play in this regard of supposed rights has no value, has no merit, no substance. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Heb. 9:27) A few decades of self-deception is the best that any of us can do.
It is no wonder that those who seek to serve the Most High with all their soul attempt to reach those who do not, why would we leave them in their delusions when we have been shown the truth. They are as small children who believe they hold some form of power, they resemble a very small animal attempting to tell the lion that he has no power over them. If you want to believe you are something that you are not, you have that ability, but it is a lie, and your conscience will not let you believe it.
God has given many over to a reprobate mind in these days, it is one of the surest signs of His judgment upon mankind. Our responsibility in this regard is to warn all who will listen, but you must always remember, these people, all who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord, believe they have the right to not do so. We know differently. They will stand, if they do not repent, before Him at the Great White Throne of Judgment, where there will be no mercy.
We want to help them to see the truth before that day, before they take their final breath here. “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” (Psalm 8:4)
It is one of the most basic, ingrained traits of all humanity, the belief that we have the right to choose our own path, in not only this life, but the one to come. His long suffering is beyond understanding in this matter, that which is created pretending to have rights against Him who created all. Do not confuse these supposed rights you may believe you have with the truth, you have the ability because of the gift of free will to chose the path of your life, but that does not give you the right to.
